A day ahead of U2’s first-ever concert in Istanbul, front man Bono met with Turkish Prime Minster Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Erdogan’s daughter, and two state officials.Buy U2 tickets here
 
Bono told Erdogan that he understood the prime minister loved Turkish classical music and presented the leader with an iPod Nano, telling him that it would benefit the Global Fund to Fight Against AIDS.
 
Later Sunday, Turkey’s chief EU negotiator Egeman Bagis and State Minister Hayati Yazici were scheduled to accompany Bono as he walked the Bosphorus Bridge. Buy U2 tickets here
