Peter Gabriel, who has already released one album of orchestral covers, Scratch My Back, is now working on orchestral covers of his own songs, exclaim.ca reported.
Speaking in a blog on his website, Gabriel said composer John Metcalfe had done the orchestral arrangements of the songs, which were performed by Gabriel along with the New Blood Orchestra.
Gabriel's last tour included orchestral arrangements for some of his most popular songs, including "Red Rain" and "Solsbury Hill."
Gabriel said that he hoped to complete the album later this year for release in early 2011.
